Ollie Gabriel|Running ManOllie Gabriel grew up in a family of artists, in small-town Louisiana. As a child, his ears were groomed by legendary soul men like Curtis Mayfield, Bobby Womack and Tyrone Davis. He was inspired to try every instrument he could get his hands on, after hearing his parents play their records. From drums, church organ, guitar, trombone, to playing in the school band and singing in church – Ollie did it all.

Crediting Michael Jackson and classic rock music as one of his biggest early influences, as a kid, he knew he wanted to develop the power to emotionally move people with his stage presence, like Mick Jagger and James Brown.

That sonic diversity helped shape the artist he is today.

His music has been featured on major networks such as NBC, MTV, Fox and TNT. Most recently, his hit debut single "Running Man" was in ABC'S Grey's Anatomy. "Running Man" was released in Europe first and reached the top 10 in several countries. It has over 18 million streams on Spotify.

Ollie is currently prepping the release of his US debut. Lately he has been performing to sold out audiences at some of LA's hottest venues such as The Sayers Club, Hotel Cafe, The Mint, The Peppermint Club, and The Viper Room. Ollie's rare high energy performance style is quickly earning him a name. Music Connection Magazine listed him as one of the top live bands to see in 2017. His band, which he dubbed " The Amazing Soul Town PPLS" is comprised of world-class touring musicians, who've shared the stage with a multitude of major artist. They help to bring Ollie's vision to life with incredible precision.

His music is often compared to artist such as James Brown, Bruce Springsteen, Bruno Mars, and Otis Redding. One Part soul-man, one part rock star, going to an Ollie Gabriel show, you are guaranteed to feel lifted by the energy and heartfelt soul coming from the stage.
